Darrin Hunt's Shining Gold Poster

Underneath the title block will be our names, the same as you did for the mock-up cover. No barcodes on any of these posters.

Majestic 12 – This poster is a promotional poster and not based on any particular cover being considered for the series. Just something I want to see hanging on my wall and on my kids’ walls and anywhere else I can find to stick it.

The heroes of MJ 12 are arranged on the steps of the US Capital in Washington, D.C. Regent should be front and center with the others spread out around him. Not all of them are on the same steps. I just know that I’d like Regent to be front and center. Perhaps he could be holding a flag pole with the American flag flapping in the wind. He could be holding the flagpole in his right hand. Maybe have President Roosevelt in his wheelchair on his left side and have Regents left hand on his shoulder. All of the characters should have their heads slightly raised to signify that they are far above everyone else? Just a thought. Black Rook and the Watchman should be on opposite sides of the page and both should have a look of feeling slightly uncomfortable being out in the spotlight, being exposed and vulnerable out in the daylight. The Recluse should be at the far back of the image with his body turned to one side, trying not to attract too much attention to himself. Freedom’s Eagle and Winger are not present in this image. However, the Wing plane can be seen in the air either hovering or doing a flyby.

Hourglass should be directly behind Regent but suspended in the air by his hourglass. Dr. Scarab and Bast should be up in the air farther behind Hourglass. Dr. Scarab should be on the left hand side of the page and Bast on the opposite. Scarabs’ left hand and Basts’ right hand should be intertwined (holding hands) with their hands slightly up in the air. They should be emitting a blight golden glow. Twilight should not be represented per se. but I’m thinking a large image of his face at the top of the page with his hands coming in from the sides of the poster, one on each side, with his palms open, out and up. At the top of the poster, under his starry visage, we should be able to very clearly make out his cape clasp with the all-seeing eye. Perhaps Mr. Midnight can be seen coming out of a shadow somewhere on the page. The rest of the characters placements are up to your discretion.

This poster would probably work best as a sideways image, with the 17” running the width and the 11” the width. Kind of like a wraparound cover. Directly under Twilights clasp should be the Shining Gold/MJ 12 title block. Don’t forget our names. At the bottom of the page is a blurb that says the following:

HAS EVER KNOWN....

TO BAD NO ONE REMEMBERS THEM!
